The main goal of the Symposium is to transfer the personal techniques and comments of the ceramic artists’s to the works which will be made during the Symposium and presenting the artistic and scientific contribution to the University of Kocaeli and the surrounding. Works to be made as part of the II. International Ceramics Symposium will be donated to the "Contemporary Ceramic Arts Museum" which is planned to be established within the boundaries of the Gölcük County. II. International Ceramics Symposium aims to contribute to expanding the ceramics art possibilities and limits, and developing the dialogue between artists, students and art lovers.
